Using AI is a personal choice, so I can’t tell you if you should use it or not
I’ll get my biases out of the way up front – I do not use AI in my content or design process. Have I taken AI tools for a spin? Yes. Have I had conversations with ChatGPT? Absolutely. I’ve been interested in computing and computers since I was a kid, like many people in my generation. I’m far too curious not to try these new tools (possibly beings) out and see what they can do.
Still, AI is not being developed by people with wisdom. Intelligence, yes. Wisdom, not necessarily. And, uhhh… that is not ideal. My choice is to avoid participating when at all possible.
In my opinion, the way AI is currently being designed is anti-life
AI guzzles water and power like nobody’s business. The energy demands of data centers are stretching the power grid at a time we should be tapering off our use of power.
Infinite growth on a finite planet and all of that! Using AI in the way we do is honestly ridiculous, and I often wonder if the tech bros believe their own story that this is somehow “progress.” There is so much needless waste and habitat destruction generated by the use of AI.

If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum, you need to be sure there isn’t anything embarrassing hidden in the middle of text. All the Lorem Ipsum generators on the Internet tend to repeat predefined chunks as necessary, making this the first true generator on the Internet. It uses a dictionary of over 200 Latin words, combined with a handful of model sentence structures, to generate Lorem Ipsum which looks reasonable. The generated Lorem Ipsum is therefore always free from repetition, injected humour, or non-characteristic words etc.
